Coordination of research: proposals for the drafting of the new statute Explanations of the University

During the open meeting of the Coordination of researchers in the last 25 January, which was also attended by teachers from other groups, research fellows, graduate students and other people working in various capacities within our universities have been some proposals to the drafting of the Statute.

Through the Web site of coordination ( http://unissricercatorietal.wordpress.com ), many people have joined these proposals: in just three days we collected over 200 signatures telematics, including over 120 teaching staff structured (all available online).

We would like - really - that these proposals are intended as a constructive contribution and open in the direction of greater participation in the process of drafting the basic charter of our university.

we ask you therefore to draw the attention governing bodies of our university the contents of this letter and proposed the text of which is shown below:

" 1. To ensure democratic and representative in the process of discussion and drafting of the new Statute of the University, we propose that it is re-established and renewed the See of the University (for the occasion could be called "See the statutes"), integrated with a fair representation of the precarious and temporary research staff (research fellows, graduate students, interns, etc..) and technical and administrative staff, with a clear mandate: (1) to develop binding guidelines and principles for the drafting of the new statute, (2) to monitor and control the work of the Commission for the State and (3) to express The final opinion on the proposal of the Statute.

2. As these and other proposals that go in the direction of greater democracy and representativeness del processo di redazione del nuovo Statuto, potrebbero meritare di essere meditate, approfondite e discusse a livello di Facoltà e di intero Ateneo, ci appelliamo al senso di responsabilità degli organi di governo dell’Università, chiedendo di non assumere affrettate e precipitose decisioni sulle procedure e modalità di redazione del nuovo Statuto, nella consapevolezza dell’importanza e della solennità che questa fase costituente e rifondativa riveste per il nostro Ateneo ."
